So I was wondering...

...why do so many old Israeli ladies have purple hair? I mean, it's purple. It's not even like it could pass as brown in certain lighting. I see this at least once a day. And if it's not purple, its magenta! Maybe they were all going for red, but don't you think they'd have it fixed? Or buy another color at the Super Pharm? Do they think it looks natural? Or good? Are they acting out because, what the hell, they're really old? I'd just like to know. If anyone can enlighten me, it would be much appreciated.
